Due in large part to shortstop Jace Peterson, the New Orleans Ghosts sunk the Seattle Mariners, 5-3. Peterson was 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Aaron Nola, who finished 3rd in the in strikeouts with 235 in 2022, was the winning pitcher. Over 5.2 innings, he allowed 3 runs on 5 hits, with 3 walks and 8 strikeouts. J.P. France notched his 3rd save of the season.

Early in the game, Peterson had a 3-run home run for New Orleans. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Ghosts on top, 3-0.
