The Tampa Bay Rays topped the Minnesota Twins, 4-3, in Major League Baseball action at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. The game was highlighted by the performance of Tampa Bay pitcher Chris Sale. Orion Kerkering recorded his 3rd save for Tampa Bay. Tampa Bay goes to 5-5.

The Rays got a big at-bat from designated hitter Kerry Carpenter. For the game, Carpenter went 1-2 with a home run, a walk, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. In the bottom of the third, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 2nd home run of the season gave Tampa Bay a 4-2 lead.

"Both teams played hard," said Tampa Bay manager Noah McKinnon.
