A 5-RBI performance from the 31-year old second baseman Ketel Marte helped the Higuey Caribenos beat the Milwaukee Brewers, 10-4. Reynaldo Lopez got the win, improving to 4-2. He held the Brewers to 1 run on 4 hits over 6 innings, while striking out 6 and walking 1. At 12-4, the Caribenos find themselves in second place in the MLB.

Marte made an early impact for Higuey when he stroked his 5th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which came in the top of the third, put the Caribenos on top, 8-0.

"We've got a great group of guys," Marte said, "and we're having fun right now."
