Ghosts Beat Twins, 2-0, Behind Nola
|
New Orleans Ghosts starter Aaron Nola pitched a strong game against the Minnesota Twins at Oriole Park at Camden Yards, leading the Ghosts to victory, 2-0. J.P. France was credited with the save for New Orleans, his 5th of the season. The slumping Twins have lost 6 straight.
Nola, a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, was dealing all game. He kept Minnesota hitters off-balance, while giving the Ghosts 8 quality innings. Nola threw 111 pitches, allowing 2 hits and striking out 9.
"When Aaron is on, he can really move the ball around," said New Orleans manager Noah McKinnon.
